Layered lighting—warm LED up-lights, hidden coves, and soft table-level pendants—was used to soften Westminster’s harsh daylight and accent original cornices and skirtings. The aim: a homeowner's domestic feeling at lunch, transforming elegantly into theatrical refinement at dinner, in perfect sympathy with Steve Groves’s reinterpretation of classic dishes.
